Compensation is paid to schools for trend surveys and other custom research projects to be used at their discretion. National Educator Panel participants are each compensated directly upon completion of requested projects.

When can I or my school expect compensation?2020-11-17T22:47:17+00:00

The main factor in this is your school’s/club’s completion time for the project and it does vary a bit per project.

How will I know which students need to take the survey? Do I have to stay within the named parameters?2020-11-17T22:47:39+00:00

You will receive a Survey Procedure page that lists a specific breakdown regarding gender, age, and ethnicity. This Page solely lists KidSay’s goal.  As such, the breakdown is flexible.  For example, upon request, you may be able to ‘blanket’ a class – i.e. give the questionnaire to each student.

How long can I expect this project to take?2020-11-17T22:47:55+00:00

KidSay’s trend surveys are often completed in about fifteen minutes. Once completed, the project coordinator at your school will collect the surveys and return them to KidSay with a prepaid UPS label that will be provided

How long do I have to complete the project?2020-11-17T22:48:10+00:00

Timelines will vary by project. For KidSay’s trend surveys, the required turnaround time is usually a week.  However, we will communicate ahead of this time frame so that you can plan appropriately. For National Educator Panel surveys (AKA “Teacher’s Know Best”) the turn around time is often 48-72 hours.

Where do these questionnaires take place? And who administers them?2020-11-17T22:48:33+00:00

The questionnaires are conducted in schools.  A person (likely a staff member) is chosen to administer the questionnaires and thus works closely with KidSay staff.

How do you know students are the respondents?2020-11-17T22:48:47+00:00

As previously mentioned, the questionnaires take place at school versus home.  In addition, those administering the questionnaires are asked to not influence the students in their answers and fellow students are asked to not share their answers with their peers.  The goal is to receive the students’ unbiased opinions.
